The Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e.V. is an association of Saxon economy. The 121 members of the association are industrial companies and companies close to industry, which offer more than 50,000 jobs in Saxony and generate an annual turnover of 15 billion euros.
The Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e.V. was founded on 7 December 2000 in Chemnitz. As already indicated in the name, it follows the tradition of the “Industrial Association for the Kingdom of Saxony” from 1828.
